Lettings and property management specialist, Lucie White & Company, has been helping South West London landlords rent out their properties for over a decade. This year, with a growing portfolio to manage, Lucie is expanding her Coombe-based team so that she can continue to offer her signature, personalised approach.
What does 2019 have in store for Lucie White & Company?
It’s shaping up to be an exciting year already! In 2018, we celebrated our 10th birthday. That was a real milestone for the company, and it prompted me to step back and think about what the next decade will look like. The number of properties that we let and manage is growing steadily, so I knew I needed an extra pair of hands. That’s where Rebecca comes in.
What will Rebecca’s role be?
I have known Rebecca for years – in fact, she was my first boss! She joined us part-time back in 2015, but will now move into a full time role as Lettings Manager. I have always done that job myself – it’s how I started the company – but there aren’t enough hours in the day to do everything. I’m a bit of a control freak (aren’t most business owners?!), but if there’s one person I trust to do this for me, it’s Rebecca. She really understands the Lucie White ethos of tailoring our service to each individual property and landlord, so I know she’ll do a fantastic job.
What will you focus on?
My role will become more strategic and I’ll concentrate on finding the right tenants for the right properties. Online property portals can be powerful – but advertising alone is not enough. I will be building up personal networks, developing corporate contacts and covering every marketplace to ensure that our landlords’ properties are let quickly and efficiently to the best possible candidates.
